International Student Ambassador
I was lucky to be part of an organization called the ISA Program. This stands for International Student Ambassador. This is a relevantly new program created by the Global Initiatives Office. I was chosen for a whole academic year to guide students who are studying abroad at FIU or pursuing their dual degree with partner schools. I had the opportunity to meet a lot of students from around the world studying business at FIU. The ISA's created social, cultural and educational events for the students to meet and interact amongst each other.

Through the program I got the chance to attend the Florida International Leadership Conference. I spent the weekend in a camp site with students from different Florida universities who have studied abroad or are currently studying abroad in Florida. We learned how to become better leaders, attended many personal development workshops and got the chance to network with students from all around the world.

The ISA program is for business students who have studied abroad or are currently pursuing a dual degree program. It is a great opportunity to improve your leadership skills and learn about different cultures. I would highly recommend it to study abroad because it is such an enriching experience.
